Meet Death With Grace

If you are on your deathbed and you are witnessing these words, you have the opportunity to be greater than the unhappy moment that faces you, to be awake awareness, unafraid, facing death. You can turn this unhappy moment into a beautiful moment. Many people all over the world are displaying what it is to die gracefully, without fear, and it teaches those around them so much.
So if an unhappy moment is something you simply cannot change, face it with grace; face it with love; face it with understanding of the human condition and its illusions, all the while knowing that that is not who you are.
Life is temporary, but you are eternal. Unhappy moments are temporary, but you are eternal. So be awake in the Now, unhappy moment and all. Just meet it fully, don’t run away. Find what you can that is pleasant, and make lemonade out of your lemons. That has always been one of my favorite sayings: “I guess I’ll just make lemonade out of those lemons, sweeten it up.”
And share that with others; an unhappy moment can be turned around, can be turned into a whole different experience, if you approach it in a different way. So how can you meet this unhappy moment, and approach it in a way that turns it into something sweet? That’s your challenge in this unhappy moment.
